About TrailAdventures.Run

Being active in the hills has always been an integral part of my life, from early forays into the Peak District with my Mum on weekends, through to exploring the boundaries of my endurance in more recent years. Running has changed my life for the better, and has allowed me to see the hills and mountains through different eyes, linking up different peaks and routes that might have otherwise been out of reach.

Since leaving university, I have worked in Outdoor Education for almost 20 years, helping people develop in the outdoors in a variety of countries, with a wide range of clients. It is this desire to help people develop the skills to be safe and enjoy the outdoors that has led me to setting up TrailAdventures.Run.

My qualifications, including the International Mountain Leader enable me to lead groups in the hills and mountains of the UK and overseas. I am fully insured to lead groups hiking and running in the hills and mountains.

For my own running, I mainly stick to off-road, and am as happy heading out for a quick half hour as I am going for a full day in the mountains. Personally I much prefer finding trails that are new to me, and getting off the beaten track away from the crowds.

We are dog friendly, and can accommodate dogs on most of our activities with prior notice. Dogs must be well-behaved, with good recall, or kept on a lead.
