Information For Participants

Below are some of the common areas that are asked about.

Please get in touch with us if there are any aspects of an activity that you need help with.

  • Health & fitness levels:

All of our activities assume a relatively decent level of fitness. Some activities will require a higher level of fitness than others, and we will try and explain this to the best of our ability in the descriptions on the booking pages. 

If you are unsure if an activity is suitable for you, please get in touch with us and we will happily discuss it with you.

 

  • Equipment:

Unless specifically stated, all equipment should be provided by you. We will generally provide maps/compasses for navigation activities. 

If you need help with choosing equipment for an activity, or are unsure about an aspect of equipment, please get in touch with us and we will happily discuss it with you.

 

  • Transport:

All transport to and from activities is your responsibility. All of our cars break down at some point, so if you are struggling to get to an activity, please get in touch with us at least a few days before, and we can see if there are any car-share opportunities.

 

  • Insurance for clients:

It is your choice whether you take out insurance for taking part in activities. You may have insurance from your bank that will cover you for our activities.

 

  • Client’s responsibilities:

While taking part in the activity, you agree to abide by any and all rules as set out by TrailAdventures.Run during the activity. A full briefing will be given at the start of the day outlining the plan for the day, along with any pertinent information.

 

Any person who has turned up for an activity under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to not take part. No refund will be offered in this circumstance.

 

  • Cancellations:

Activities may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the activity starting. No refunds for activities will be issued after this point.

 

If we have to cancel an activity for a reason outside of our control, we will contact you to offer a refund, or booking onto an alternative activity.
