Booking Information & Conditions

Please find below TrailAdventures.Run's Booking Conditions. A copy of these can be requested by contacting us via email. 

  • Booking Conditions:

When making a booking we will ask you to complete a booking form, to allow us to hold pertinent information about yourself(ves). More details on this can be found in our GDPR policy here.

 

  • Making a Booking:

All activities are provided by TrailAdventures.Run. In these terms, “we/us/our” refers to Trailadventures.run, and “you/your/yours” refers to you, the client.

 

The cost of each activity will be clearly shown on Trailadventures.run, and there are no hidden costs associated with any activity.

 

  • Cancellations:

Activities may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the activity starting. No refunds for activities will be issued after this point.

 

If we have to cancel an activity for a reason outside of our control, we will contact you to offer a refund, or booking onto an alternative activity. 

 

  • Payment:

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking on our website, unless you have contacted us to arrange alternate payment.   

 

  • Age Restrictions:

Participants taking part in running activities must be 18 and over, or 16 and over with a parent or legal guardian who will also be taking part in the full activity. 

 

Participants taking part in hiking activities must be 18 and over. If the participant is under 18, they must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian.

 

  • Participation Statement:

While taking part in the activity, you agree to abide by any and all rules as set out by Trailadventures.run during the activity. A full briefing will be given at the start of the day outlining the plan for the day, along with any pertinent information.

 

Any person who has turned up for an activity under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to not take part. No refund will be offered in this circumstance.

 

  • Usage of Photos/Videos:

We often use photos of our activities on social media, or on Trailadventures.run. If you would rather we did not use any photos/videos of you, please let us know. 

 

  • Medical Declaration:

When making your booking, you will be asked to agree to the following statement: 

 

As a condition of your booking you declare that you are physically and mentally fit for the activity you have chosen.

 

You understand that during the activity, it will not be possible to deliver the same standard of medical treatment that you may receive in a hospital and that in the event of illness or injury it may take some time to be rescued.

 

You understand that it is in your interest to disclose any underlying medical problems you have to the organiser of the activity in confidence well before commencing the activity.

 

You understand that you will need to take responsibility for your own medical welfare by carrying adequate supplies of your own medication (If needed) while on the activity and possibly also carry a basic medical pack so that you can treat yourself for any minor problems which may occur.

 

Concisely:

You need to be physically and mentally fit to do the activity.

If you have any pre-existing medical conditions it’s a good idea to let us know.

If you are on any medication, bring sufficient with you.

Look after yourself.

  • Risk Declaration:

When making your booking, you will be asked to agree to the following statement: 

 

Adventurous activities have a danger of personal injury or death. You should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for your own actions and involvement. If you require more details regarding the scope of the activity, please get in touch.

 

If the weather conditions are too severe then for safety reasons our plans may need to be changed at short notice and in rare circumstances the activity may be postponed or cancelled.

 

You confirm that you understand you can source appropriate insurance if you so wish. This is not mandatory for UK trips.

 

You understand that it is your responsibility to declare any underlying medical problems that may affect your ability to complete the activity safely.

 

In the event of logistical (transportation, accommodation. etc.) difficulties you agree that you are responsible for any additional costs arising.

 

Concisely:

Adventurous activities can lead to personal injury or death. 

You accept these risks and agree to act responsibly.

We may need to change our plans if the weather is too bad.
